Thank you for all the reply guys. I just picked up 1 jug of Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 and 1 jug of Pennzoil Conventional 20w50 today. They didn't have any Mobil 1 0w40 or 5w40, although they did have Delo 15w40 and Mobile delvac 15w40 over there.
Now the Delo 400 idea becomes very tempting...
just took a look at the Mobil 1 0w40 and TD 5-40 specs, they're really impressive! both got TBNs like 11-12. are these stuff available in walmart 5 qt jugs? never paid much attentions to the mobil stuff, guess I'll go check them out tomorrow. If they have either, I'll probably try them out...

yeah, I know that w/o a used oil analysis you can't say anything for sure, but from the few used oil analysis done on subaurs so far, the lighter oils do lose viscosity.
