Yeah, I have an older 13.8V 25A psu from radio shack I have used in the past, but have also used a jump box. I would like to get a more modern linear psu for these purposes....especially when dealing with the TCM.

Ha...yes, and I know that's cliche', but some players can break skin when stepping on an ankle and nothing happens....and some players can do it accidentally while looking away and get a red card. One of many examples but the game of flops....love it or hate it.

Agreed, I'm in the hunt for one that I can use with GM SPS2, don't want to use one that violates anything. What is needed for any TCM reflash? Do I need the GDS-2 subscription or would a single VIN threough SPS2 be enough?

Definitely ask your installer about the ceramics as those by nature can give a blue cast at low sun angles, midday sun is not really as much an issue. Also, get a reading on your glass before the tint is applied, and compare with the tinted glass. Some glass has minimal heat rejection so be sure...

With Snap-On, how many times do you purchase the product and pay for your own warranty? I'm not in the loop of the finances of Snap-On, but I don't see how their tools can command these prices. Are you telling me they can't profit off even a $50 spark plug socket...or a more reasonable $25...
