Aeroshell 4/41 vs. Liqui Moly Top Tec 1800

Can I use Liqui Moly Top Tec ATF 1800 in place of Aeroshell 4 or Aeroshell 41 fluid? I have a quart of the Liqui Moly lying around, and don’t want to buy unnecessary fluid if it isn’t needed. As far as I know both are hydraulic fluids?

Adding Lubegard Red to a BMW

So, update, I’ve done a drain and fill, and changed out 4 liters of fluid. I used Liqui Moly Top Tec 1800 ATF, for now the shifts have become smoother and it got rid of any noise and jerky movements.

So I want to start with Lubegard red and...

Adding Lubegard Red to a BMW

Hi, Does anyone have any experience adding Lubegard to German Cars? Any positives that came out of it. I'm debating whether I should add it to my 6HP26 Transmission, to extend its life, and hopefully get rid of some 2-1 downshift clunk that is notorious in the transmissions. The car currently...
