That sucks. Those are actually called chisels, 5/16" maybe? A good tire shop may be able to patch that but it's hard to tell, it looks more like a tear from the image. This winter I purchased a set of brand new winter tires and within a few months I picked up a roofing nail in the sidewall.

What are you working on today?

My wife and I just finshed doing some yard work. We raked the lawn and added corn gluten, cleaned the flower beds and then added mulch.

Subaru CVT oil change made simple.....

I don't see what the big deal is either CB. I actually preferred it when driving through the mountains on my way to and from SoFLo. EDIT: With 5w-20 in the sump at the time, LOL.

    LCA Bushings

Okay, I didn't know the car receives yearly inspections. If the front end is in fact okay, struts would help the car not feel so "loose". Struts degrade gradually so the deterioration sometimes goes unnoticed. I could certainly feel the difference in my Toyotas when the struts were due...

    LCA Bushings

It's time for new struts and a thorough front end inspection for free play.

MV CVTF for 2015 Subaru Outback?

Castrol's CVT fluid is red and so is Citgo's, it's just a dye. You should be fine.

2007 civic manual transmission Pennzoil Synchromesh Fluid

I've used GM's Synchromesh to try and quiet a synchro grind in a Civic; worked like a charm.
