I have a 06 Civic SI with 20K in miles and I tend to drive it pretty hard. I was thinking about changing my transmission fluid over to synthetic...any down side or recommendation for doing this or not doing this. Why do it your ask? Driving habits and just plain makes good sense for the life...

Thanks everyone for their input!!! I just wanted to chime in as the service advisor did not say it was a blanket no synthetic in the honda's. He said it is not advised in MY Civic SI engine.something to do with the VTEC...he said is why they do not recommend snythetic in this engine.
