It’s a 2020 Tacoma 3.5 with 86k. Also I will most likely just stick with OEM filters since it’s a cartridge filter and it’s just the media that is replaced essentially. Plus I put a Mobil 1 filter next to the oem and the Mobil 1 is slightly shorter.. was interesting
yes 0w20 is recommended for my Tacoma. When the truck is full heated you can hear the thing tick like crazy but it's "normal" from what I have been told at the dealership.
I live in Florida so technically no I don't see cold much at all if any, maybe a month or two of 40-50 degree weather. I am more wondering due to starting flow and preventing starting wear due to decreased oil flow at start up. To me 0w20 is thin.
