It will be a pretty good tool when you are prefilling your big diesel filter. Instead of pouring fuel from your dirty 5 gallon jug directly into the filter, you use the tool.

I would advise against using a filter with a different bypass pressure other than what the manufacturer recommends. In your case a 36 psi vs 21 psi is nearly double of what the manufacturer put in place. You could be putting your engine at risk of oil starvation during cold starts and heavy...

My Honda has a positive displacement oil pump so it should be able to handle a Subaru oil filter

If these filters were to have a higher bypass valve setting would it effect a Honda engine?

A relative has some extra Subaru filters they are getting rid of. Would these cause any issues on a Honda engine?
