Multiple DTCs on Camaro v6 2011; need help please

I don't think those are screen shots. I think GON actually photographed the scanner multiple times.

    Jetson Quadcopter Racing

That concept is not good for the tire manufacturers.

    Nasty engine oil leak

I can't work on equipment dirty like that. I'd have to clean the machine so I can see where everything is.

Would you like to tour the Chevron Richmond (California) Refinery?

I'm assuming all the battery people are going to be absent. 😁

Weed wacker string life is pathetic

If the string keeps breaking off at the eyelets, that means you're forcing the string to bend too much. Raise the trimmer head up so that only the tips of the string make contact with the concrete. When I'm edging, I bump the head three times in a row to give me plenty of sting for edging and...

Cheap A/T initial impressions Trail Guide All Terrain 235/75R15 XL

235/75R15 is the size tire for a 1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. If you put the car up on a lift and look underneath, you'd swear you were looking at a pickup truck.

If an automaker was selling a new car or truck, what questions would you have for them when it comes to getting 200k+ miles out of it?

Either that or make sure you trade the car in before the warranty is up on a purchased car.

Another technological mess on a newer Jetta.

A perfect example is the GM 3800 V6. As soon as you do the upgraded upper intake manifold plenum and the upgraded lower intake manifold gaskets with the steel shims, you've got yourself a trouble free 400,000 mile car.

Another technological mess on a newer Jetta.

Cars are so complicated now that they are no longer reliable. We've gone from planned obsolescence to over complication. Both will kill reliability. I don't place all of the blame on the manufacturers. I place most of the blame on regulatory agencies.

Another technological mess on a newer Jetta.

The best thing to do is find an older car that was made simple and restore it to perfection. There used to be shops in Las Vegas where an old car enters the building on one end and then exits the building on the other end brand new.

If an automaker was selling a new car or truck, what questions would you have for them when it comes to getting 200k+ miles out of it?

These new cars are never going to make it to 200,000 miles. The direct injection is never going to wash the sludge off the valves. The camshafts and lifters are never going to survive multi-cylinder deactivation. The variable valve timing cam phasers are never going to make it either. The...

Engine blew up in the shop.

I'm wondering how the rod was able to go through the oil pan while the engine was only at idle.

Auto OEM's refuse to sell cars in California unless they’re allowed to track you

My driving habits? They're going to fall asleep watching my driving habits. I drive 35 mph all over town when the speed limit says 40. I set the cruise control to 55 on the interstate just for nostalgic purposes. I drive around neighborhoods at 10 mph looking for grass to cut. I feel sorry...
