Wouldn't that be a stable fuel/water emulsion? It also says: 26. Prevention of the formation of stable fuel-water emulsions. I'm still missing something. 23,24, and 26 (from the #137ND diesel treat) still appear to me to contradict each other. Can anyone explain this to me?

23. Allow moisture to be rapidly separated from the fuel. 24. Dispersion of water present in diesel fuel in order to prevent fuel icing and other problems associated with water. How is it possible to do both? Is dispersion the same as emulsification?

Its for chassis lubrication. I'd assume its mostly squeezed out, and maybe some washout. The lithium complex I'm using now did better than the aluminum base on the water washout test, but does this test take into account the lithium complex emulsifying water over time? Its not really direct...

What is the best indicator of how long a grease will stay put? Is it the water washout test, the thickener(lithium,aluminum, etc.), or an additive in the grease?

I would almost guarantee that this oil after 18,000 miles is cleaner than oil with no bypass at 3,000 miles. I have seen numerous studies from different companies that showed less wear in engines with a bypass filter. No filter will filter out everything. Its just not possible. there are more...

The screen on my window also catches dirt smaller than one micron, however neither do it efficiently. The fact is that there are no particle tests below one micron which makes this a very vague claim. The amsoil bypass filter is a good filter its just poorly marketed. I haven't looked in a while...
