Wouldn't that be a stable fuel/water emulsion? It also says: 26. Prevention of the formation of stable fuel-water emulsions. I'm still missing something. 23,24, and 26 (from the #137ND diesel treat) still appear to me to contradict each other. Can anyone explain this to me?

Its for chassis lubrication. I'd assume its mostly squeezed out, and maybe some washout. The lithium complex I'm using now did better than the aluminum base on the water washout test, but does this test take into account the lithium complex emulsifying water over time? Its not really direct...

So a dispersant can keep water spread out through the fuel, but keep it where it can easily be removed by a water removing filter. While an emulsifier actually mixes the fuel with water and makes it difficult to remove. Is that correct?

So additives that say they disperse water work the same(in dealing with water) as the ones that say they emulsify water?

What is the best indicator of how long a grease will stay put? Is it the water washout test, the thickener(lithium,aluminum, etc.), or an additive in the grease?

I would almost guarantee that this oil after 18,000 miles is cleaner than oil with no bypass at 3,000 miles. I have seen numerous studies from different companies that showed less wear in engines with a bypass filter. No filter will filter out everything. Its just not possible. there are more...

The screen on my window also catches dirt smaller than one micron, however neither do it efficiently.
