Revisiting this thread - I tried, no response. Was able to buy 2 cases from Rock Auto for delivery to my Va. address. And 5 liter jugs of motorcraft transmission oil shipped to my Mississippi address.

It is unique. There may be other oils which are exactly the same, made in the same batch, same factory with a different label but don't have the Motorcraft label, doesn't matter to me. What matters is why Rock Auto can list it but not ship it.

I just tried to order Motorcraft 5w30 oil from Rock Auto. They said they couldn't ship to my address (38843). Any idea what gives? They would let me order other brands of oil.

I've been trying to buy Rotella 5w30 for my Escape w/ 30K miles, places near me are out. But I've got many gallons of Rotella 5w-40 bought for another vehicle on hand. Any cause not to use the 5W40?
