Since you are taking him the oil, just take him 4.5 qts. Pour the extra pint in another container. Get him to return one of the empties for the next OC. Then you can check it at home and figure it all out??

I always round up to the next .5 qt and then check my stick next morning. Then I put a sticker with correct amount under my hood for future reference.

Very valid point. But that 6 hour drive with no rear shocks would be unbearable. You have no idea what 30 minutes was yesterday. LOL I'm thinking about simple conversion to coil springs. I'll see what my son wants to to.
