I ended up calling Maxima. Frankly I was surprised at the lack of product knowledge the guy I spoke to had. Spoke to a notable race engine builder and he said put 3 full power passes & long coast to the pull out. Change oil and I’m good to go.

Suggestions on how to break in bracket racing engine with Maxima Break In Oil? No dyno available to do it in controlled environment. Drag Strip use only - not street legal. Make x amount of passes and charge oil at the track?

On running any race oil on the street I’d 100% recommend calling the manufacturer for insights of running race oil on the street. For 1 I know cars with catalytic converters are a no-go.

Interesting! I believe there are plants that will make oils for different companies - blending them with specific additives packages required by who they’re making it for. I’m under the impression all the oils you mentioned have good reputations.
