Who makes the synthetic oil for Subaru?

ExxonMobil has a big presence in Japan, working with Toyota and has worked with Honda in the past. ExxonMobil is affiliated with Tonen General and sells gasoline and oil under Tonen/General, Esso, and Mobil brands there. So they are another 'OEM' oil in Japan like ENEOS and Indemtsu. Shell...

Anybody watching the Indy race tomorrow?

The Indycar race from Barber (Birmingham, AL) was great! Lots of passing and gritty driving. Not to often you see three wide in a corner on a road course.

Would you add any fuel additives to a new vehicle?

Why would you need additives in a new car? It is clean. If you stray away from top tier later, then using a cleaner will help after 10,000 mi or so of non-Top Tier.

    oil lubricated air compressor

I got Bosch 3-gallon compressor and it is pretty good. Not as noisy as most compressors. The 4-gallon model is probably pretty good. there is a Makita Hot dog compressor for $200 that gets good reviews also for reliability and noise, but probably doesn't have the capacity.

    10 worst gm cars???

US GM cars in the late 70s and 80s were just pathetic for the most part. The build quality, driving "experience" and reliability was just a joke. Their claim to fame was (like their US competitors), "we're not as bad the other three". Big sloppy boats or cheap looking, poor handling, soft...
