I just posted this to help, it is free information,and I don't base my opinion on one single finding, but I think that their quality controls are not good at all, I saw plenty of those filters with some defects. most people don't cut their filters after use so you need to trust the manufacture...

you should look at this video on youtube and wait for the Mobil 1 filter, I believe it is made also by Purolator, I think you will find this interesting.

sorry, Amsoil filters are made by Champ labs Amsoil filters used to be made by Wix and now their made by Champion labs
