    2016 Civic Type R FK2 K20C1 - Honda Engine Type 2.0 0W20 - 2743 km Race track

I don't think he really means "destroy" He is a German driver that runs the hell out of the car. Redline all the time, full boost ect. I know the mentality......I have been there done that. He knows he is thrashing that car and wants the best protection for it. But he needs to understand that...

    2016 Civic Type R FK2 K20C1 - Honda Engine Type 2.0 0W20 - 2743 km Race track

I think you are overthinking this. Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 should be perfect for both Nürnberg-Ring and street use. After a hard run on the track, check your oil pressure at idle. If it's good... no need for thicker oil than 40w. Viel Spaß auf der Strecke. Rundenzeiten?

Delvac Tractor Fluid $59.99 at TSC.

That is the point I was trying to make, Rotella in my area is over $85 to $100, Valvoline at Napa is over $100 a pail. This price, with the rebates, make this a no-brainer.

Delvac Tractor Fluid $59.99 at TSC.

TSC has Mobile Delvac Tractor Fluid @ $59.99 for a 5 gal pail. With the current Delvac rebates going, this is a great price on tractor fluid. My Kubota needed a service and found other prices to be between $80 to $110. (Rotella and Valvoline) Just a heads up for people needing a Hydrostat...

    Schaeffer's Simplex Supreme in Kubota

I'm kinda leaning towards your way of thinking. But the viscosity of Super Udt2 is so low @100c compared to the other "Universal" THFs had me concerned. The majority of the work of my Kubota is 2900 RPM, wide open, mowing with a 6 ft finish mower, In 70 to 90° weather. Believe me that little...

    Schaeffer's Simplex Supreme in Kubota

Yes. I am seriously considering this over the factory Kubota (Valvoline) oil.

    Schaeffer's Simplex Supreme in Kubota

I have a Kubota 2620 with a front end loader. I'm due for my 250 hour THF change. Has anyone used the Schaeffer's Simplex Supreme oil in their tractors, and what were the results? I have considered the dealer sourced Kubota Super UDT2 and the Schaeffers. I'm just looking for a little feedback on...

    Oil For 5L HO Ford

A 5w-40 diesel oil is what I would use. Enough Zddp for that older 5.0. Delvac, Rotella, ect. Readily available, and reasonably priced. Is that 5.0 a Ford engine?? Ford in 1989, or there abouts, changed the engines in Mustangs to roller lifters. Perhaps you have one of those blocks in a marine...

Is new BMW Longlife 17 FE Castrol Edge EP 0w20?

I think this is my bet bet because It's under warranty until 2024. I wasn't clear earlier.... (first post)🤣 "Certified" 2019 X3 B48 (I think) motor. Had free oil changes till 36k. This run will put us around 40k, so it's on me from now on. I will probably just go TPT w/ Mann filter from FCP Euro.

Is new BMW Longlife 17 FE Castrol Edge EP 0w20?

X3 2.0 ltr turbo. Wife's car. She is my Deutsch Frau...always on the gas. We just had our last "free" dealer service about a week ago. So as always I was looking for an alternative for our future oil changes. I thought that MB 229.71 was such a stringent spec, that Castrol Edge EP was sufficient...

Is new BMW Longlife 17 FE Castrol Edge EP 0w20?

Given the fact that Castrol is now the supplier to BMW, is it safe to assume that Castrol Edge EP 0w20 is the new Longlife 17 FE? After all it meets MB 229.71 specs. Anyone with insight about this? I don't have a sample of the new Castrol to send to Blackstone for comparison unfortunately, my...
