Oil level light. About 2 quarts came out when I did my last oil change, Checked the dipstick 2 months after my last oil change and oil level was already at Min. Confusing the heck out of me.

Enough for the oil warning light to come on. MPG is still the same as before, no noticeable performance issues, no smoke from tail pipe. Car runs excellent.

Will try M1 10w-40 High Mileage. Would a compression test give light to a possible culprit?

PCV valve was replaced about 2 years ago. PCV is embedded into the valve cover, any fault in the PCV results in a code being thrown, it was a notorious problems for these vehicles until an upgraded PCV was put out by VW, which Is what I replaced it with.

caught the light right on time, added oil as needed.

Mobil 1 0w-40 Euro Version. Not much warming up, just enough to get oil in the engine flowing and drive.

Hello Fellas, Owner of 09 2.0T Jetta with 163k on the clock now, I've been using Mobil 1 oil since about 140k miles, no consumption problems. But now every 5k miles I am about dry! This has happened my last 4 oil changes, @ 5k intervals. I did extensive leaks checks and no spots on garage...
