Here's my thread I posted about it all. Interesting read.
Thank you.

How different is Supercar from ESP? Everything I've read points to Supercar being a re-branded ESP?
What's the "x3" in ESPx3 give over "regular ESP?"
This oil and clearing up all this confusion is what brought me to this site.
Was just looking up some more on Supercar, looks like Amazon has a really good price on it compared to everyone else out there.
$21 for 6 quarts.
It's $68 for 6 quarts at Speedway Motors.
More so how they have the following available, it gets a little convoluted.
Mobil 1 FS ("European Car Formula")
Mobil 1 ESP
Mobil 1 ESPx3
Mobil 1 Supercar
Their belief is that only the Mobil 1 ESP 0W-40 is correct, but not the ESPx3 "Because Europe".
Even though the ESPx3 is literally right there on the list.
ESP has been re-branded as "Supercar" now, and is dexosR and not dexos2...

I appreciate all the replies and feedback to this.

I've been running the factory-fill Valvoline Premium Blue in 10W-30 since I've not had a reason to switch to anything different, and the oils seem so specific and complicated now.
What factors were considered switching for you?
I'm glad to hear this from people who know oil.
I was pretty sure I was not wrong, however the uneducated masses had me starting to second-guess myself on things.
I asked for any source of information that this was incorrect, but was only scoffed at...so I figured I'd ask those who knew best.
I recently bought a 2022 Camaro with the LT1 engine. You would think finding the correct oil for this would be simple, but I'm finding that it's anything but that, and hoping you can point me in the right direction with understanding some things.
Typical answer of "what oil do I run" would be...
