The Mopar 8/9 speed fluid is junk.

Good for them. They had their second chance.

The Mopar 8/9 speed fluid is junk.

IDK about the fluid, but I can tell you this... I swore off any Chrysler products after 2 trans rebuilds on my '89 Dakota and 1 on my '95 Intrepid. All at fewer than 60,000. No thanks!

Quality of Buc-eyes gas station fuel?

Nobody has mentioned also that the output from one refinery can vary from day to day too, due to the various inputs. So lots of different oil sources feeding into a refinery, then that refinery is just one of many pumping into a pipeline... And the depots along the way just order X gallons of...

Why do people strongly opine about topics they know nothing about?

The funny thing about knowledge is that the more you learn, you realize there is even more to learn.

Why do hotels put comforters/duvets on beds... year around?

case in point - I just need a sheet and light blanket in the winter. My wife wants the sheet, blanket, and a comforter all summer long.

The Current New Truck Market Is In Trouble

My truck must be an anomaly, or it's not new enough to fit the OP's criteria. 2016 Sierra work truck. 151,000 miles on it, the AFM on the 4.3 V6 works flawlessly. I've followed the regular maintenance schedule for all the fluids and filters. The only repairs I have done are a new thermostat...

E15 acts differently in my 2 cars.

Wow, E85 same price as E15? That's just dumb. I'm paying $2.99 for E85 here. Any more than that and the cost per mile would be the same or more than regular gas.

The power of time with money…

Yeah, not only is compounding interest where you make real gains, but not saving enough to get the full company match is just leaving money on the table. We all work too hard to leave anything on the table. When I was in my 20s, I put more than I could afford into 401k and made it up by...

    First oil filter you bought?

I'm guessing it was a Lee from Western Auto. For my 1981 four door Chevette. I did the '8-s in style lol

    Customer eats employee lunch

One time we ordered a pizza on the weekend (Before we had kids and there were leftovers lol) so my wife packed a leftover slice and an apple into a plastic grocery bag and placed it into the breakroom fridge at her office each day for the following work week. On Friday at lunchtime, she went to...

Classic cars restricted to weekend use bill introduced (Minnesota)

Interesting... In New York, a car can pass inspection based upon the requirements for the year it was built. Dad's 33 Plymouth doesn't need seatbelts or turn signals. His post-war cars need turn signals, not seatbelts, etc.
