Good point. I didn't even think about the ICE not going 3000K. I plan to run this Valvoline Restore and Protect #2 cycle to about 4000K miles and will see how the next filter looks inside.

A detergent with lipase is good for presoaking in hot water then wash in the hottest setting. Might need a different approach depending on conventional or synthetic motor oil or whatever new oil you had.
