I would have thought so. My lead count is 7 when the national average is 5, but my copper is at 55 when the average is 5. Besides driving a cold engine like an ass as I often do, I don't know where else it could have came from.
116,xxx miles at the moment. 115,9xx when this sample was taken.
Only thing I could see being a contributing factor for the high copper, would be the fact my daily commute to work is 10 minutes tops, so the engine is rarely ever fully warmed up. And I drive it like a Maxima as I have a lead foot.
When my coworker and I did the spark plugs on my pathfinder a few weeks ago we noticed a small amount of oil on the intake plenum gasket and up in the intake plenum. I've also noticed on cold starts my exhaust smells a bit like oil.
Would adding a PCV catch can be worthwhile?
Thanks everyone. The bathroom does have a fan its a 70CFM Nutone. The bathroom does have a window as well.
It appears on all the walls in the bathroom, somehow the exterior wall with the window is where it appears the least.
This orangish-brown looking stuff has been appearing on the walls of my bathroom for quite some time. It comes right off with a wet washcloth or a Clorox wipe. It appears on all the walls, sometimes little spots on the ceiling and the door too.
I've repainted everything twice now and it keeps...
Still working through my stash of oil that's older than myself, I'm almost done (I'm 22 btw).
My 2014 Pathfinder.

Intake manifold has to come off to access the back three. F that!
I have used octane booster and cleaning additives in it, yes
Most of my driving is just in town for my 15-ish minute commute to work and back home, it doesn't get much highway time at all.
I'm plenty knowledgeable and I do most...
My coworker did the spark plugs on my Pathfinder in exchange for me installing his new car stereo, and I was definitely long overdue.
Here's what my original plugs with 115K on them looked like. I'm surprised it ran as well as it did with these
To anyone using the CVTz50 app to monitor their CVT transmission, which ELM327 adapter are you using? The ELM327 I've used for several years with Torque with zero issues is constantly having connection issues with CVTz50, and CVTz50 is saying I may have a counterfeit dongle.
