    I didn’t ask about a service history I only asked about the service bulletin mentioned above and any open recalls. One would be useful but unfortunately I don’t have one and can’t say that any used vehicle I’ve ever bought has had one.

    I asked if there were any open service bulletins or recalls on the truck and gave them the vin they said there is one for a fuel control module but nothing for the Silverado 1500 transmission's

    Yea I’ve just always run Rotella t6 in my diesels that’s why I referenced it differently not set on it usually when I change my wife’s or relatives oil I run pennzoil full synthetic but wanted to ask because none of them are turbocharged

    What ever oil I run it will be changed at 5k it’s easiest for me to remember and I’m not putting a ton of miles on a year anyway also do you all have a filter recommendation I forgot to ask I was planing on running the ac Delco but I wouldn’t mind running anything that’s better

    No real plans to punish the truck with any heavy towing or anything like that but I do live in the hills of WV so lots of small steep grades and the 10ish miles from work is a 30minute ride. Thank you guys for all the recommendations!

    I just bought a 21 Silverado with the 2.7l turbo and was wondering if anyone is running Rotella t6 5w-40? The know heat kills oil and turbos make a lot of heat and have always run 5w-40 in my diesels but this is my first gasoline turbo engine so I wanted to see what you guys thought
