2014 6 83k, been a great car, did a 4.5 quart drain and fill via dipstick hole at 40k, noticed hard 1_2 shift when cold. did a second 4.5 quart last week, seems better. both times I used genuine e $$ anyone have issues with thus transmission?

You stripped it wedge a small screwdriver under the head to create a little up pressure and it will back out I will guess

op here, all great points, ok, then forget cig lighter version, reset here: what is considered a good small compressor, with alligator clips, to be in the car all the time, so not big, and speed on tire fill is less of an issue than buying a quality unit. Heard so many are low quality thank you

well after owning a 2001 s80 for 12 years (not turbo) and 218K, I can say it was a pain in the a&& car. stupid things failed, door locks, ignition switch, cruise control, transmission, tons of sway bar links, brake booster, numerous sets of tie rods, cat ate batteries, radiator, throttle body...

Thanks to all, I bought some LPS stuff thats like FF for some areas and 4 cans of 3 M rubberized undercoating for the wheel wells. I keep my cars for a long time, so I figure its a good investment.

yes I think they will, after running my hand around the junction of the inner fender(back) and the lip, I was uncomfortable with the gap and what I felt. The steel seems quite smooth, no evidence if any coating.
