No waiting here. Change out 3.5qts est. every 10,000 miles. No problems. Easier than changing the oil as I have no filter to change. All in all, done in about 10min. Then a nice drive check the level and finished. Always smack on now as I'm used to how much she takes. Still will do a pan drop...
Using 10-30 Maxlife syn in the roadmaster with a heavy dose of vsot. Seems to run smoother with this than on the 5-30. No lose of mileage I can see. I'm always ave. about 20 to 21 mpg what ever oil I use in this 350 tbi.
So it's clear. The car is tbi. The bottom bore/inlets were stained. You can see were its super spotless/shiny, where I assume gas mist/spray hit the bottom of the inlets. Wasn't like that before it was dirty and stained.. Better idea? So it has to be gas mist/spray coming in cntact with the in...
I am a fan of redline. To me it made a big differance in running. Just looking at my throttle body before it was dirty/stained. After running a with treatment dose then maint dose, my tb inlets were so clean they were beyond shiny. Just my opnion. Did alot for me.
I love my k&n filter. Just add a little oil from time to time. I got scared from reading here that it might suck. But after inspecting the air ducting and not seeing anything at all(which is how it's should be) I sleep great.
I have a 700r4 tranny. It has a in the pan filter thats a pain to change(stupid cross member in the way). I suck out 3 1/2 qts of fluid every 10,000 miles. How long can I go before changing that filter and be safe. Well it clog in 50,000miles or 100,00 ?? Any info is great.
Since my filter doesn't have a pressure relief or anti drain back valve------- I should just shop oil filters on filter media, and flow. Why would I buy a expensive filter if I don't have any goodies.I just found out alot of filters for certain cars don't have either, or just have one or the...
Yeah it's a GM tamper resistant pcv valve. It's got a little braket thats attached to the valve cover that keeps it in place. You can see it clearly, but can't pull it out with out taking the little bracket off. It is my mothers car. She took it to a quick change place that over filled. It suck...
I know this is in the wrong place but. Can anyone tell me how to change the pcv valve in a 2005 chevy equinox? It's got a bracket over it that is likenot coming off.
