Pilot and flying j pumps all say 15% ethanol across all grades

Could very well be the case. I just searched for a filter for my 2020 F150 3.5 ecoboost. 79 stores came up and none of them had it in stock. Said I could order it for pickup Monday.

Doesn't look like any stores stock them. Have to be ordered in.

Don't know anything about the boss filter, but buying oil filters from Amazon is a hard pass for me. Tried 2x and had to return both times. They seemed to think throwing them in a plastic bag for shipping was acceptable. Looked like they drug them down the road behind the delivery van.

Have the same engine in my 22 escape, oil is changed at the dealer(too hard to get under to change myself). They've switched to over to 5w30. Said they feel it gives better protection. Gets changed every 5k.

Son is a mechanic at a john deere dealership, they heat the shop on the winter with used oil. They take all they can get their hands on.

They've priced themselves out of the market, no way I'm buying a vehicle with a mortgage size payment.

I don't harvest past the end of June.

I'd change it then. I've gotten in the habit of taking a pic of the odometer when I change oil.

I use the carquest premium on my 2007 and 2008 f150s.

Have a 3 year old Motorcraft battery in my 2007 f150, rated at 540 cca, testing 430 cca. Getting ready to go on a round trip cross country trip from Indiana to California. I'm half tempted to pick up a new battery, as I don't want any issues. What does everyone think?

Used a lot of Castrol GTX 10W30 back then. Had a 1995 chevy lumina with 229k that lived on that stuff.
