I'm familiar with the shim for ithe idler pulley, The Aisin kit is good. The latest news I read about the kit is the aisin water pump make a gurgling noise and some had issue with the belt.

I purchased the SUV three years ago, I checked the Carfax before purchasing And the last timing belt was changed in 2023 so that's Three years ago. The SUV is a Acura MDX.
