This looks identical to my first mower I bought in 2015. A Yard Machine brand with a red deck, mine was front wheel, self propelled, but same engine.
The 140cc at factory RPM wasn't great in tall St Augustine grass in Florida.
I bought a digital tachometer and set the RPM to ~3700. It worked...
The mower didn't come with oil that you could use as "break-in" oil before using the HPL oil?
That's the same engine I had on my previous mower. I bumped the RPM up to 3600 for extra cutting power, it worked great.
The "20" viscosity oil existed before CAFE. There is a member here who used it and it was Mobil1, if I recall correctly. Now, the 8 and 16 viscosity oils, they probably wouldn't be used in road cars if CAFE didn't exist. That's just my guess.
I bought a lightly used Toro super recycler lawn mower a few years ago and changed the oil and air filter since they were dirty. The engine is a 190cc OHV. I left the spark plug alone since it started in 2-3 pulls and ran fine.
I took the spark plug out over the weekend to check it since I...
Have you called the dealer to see if they can send someone to you with a new battery? Sounds like something internal failed in the battery, I had a similar battery voltage issue with my old Mazda3. I jumped it a couple times and drove it like that and the alternator failed a couple weeks later...
Price range?
I would go with a Toro Super recycler or Honda. I wanted a mower that had the best mulching ability for St Augustine grass. I was able to find a lightly used Super recycler for a great price on Facebook marketplace a few years ago.
How does "voltage dropping to around 12.1" determine that the alternator is bad? Wouldn't some voltage drop be expected when using many of the car's electrical systems at once?
I weigh about 135lbs and had the same problem inserting the plug tool. It sounds crazy, but here's what I would do to get the tire plunge tool in the puncture hole: I would drill out the hole puncture, to enlarge it, with a drill bit about the diameter to the plug tool, which allows the tool to...
Both will work fine since they are VW 508.00 approved. I'm using M1 ESP 0w-20 because it was on sale at one of the auto parts stores a while back. I would use the Mobil 1 in the future because it's easy to purchase at Walmart in 5-quart containers at a good price.
When I first received it, I plugged it in outside and set it to the max temp for like 15 minutes to "gas off". It's been fine ever since. I've had it for 3 years now and have used it hundreds of times to make moka pot coffee in the morning. No negatives for me, you will need to get the feeling...
Go to 12:50 in the video and look at the turbine compressor blades. There is much more varnish built up on the wheel that used conventional oil. I know this isn't the same as intake valves, but if there is that much difference in cleanliness in that area of the intake tract, then the intake...
