What influences the flashpoint of an oil?

Hmmm...seems 02s4audi has a 2002 audi as well. How many times are you going to ask the same question and under how many different names? The answer is:" Use engine oil meeting Volkswagen Oil Standard 502.00". You can change names, but the oil remains VW 502.00.

Same question, same writing style, same vehicle. Seriously, go back and read the the OP posts on each of the names mentioned previously. This is troll behavior, why not just stop. 4 different people in the NE don't post here about an early 2000 noisy Audi in the same Calender quarter talking...

Really stupid question - may be the dumbest ever

Quote: But after making a bunch of oil mistakes like this in the past (put 20W50 in my excursion one time, adding whatever oil I had on the shelf for a top off - different weights) and hundreds of thousands of miles later all the cars still run fine - makes me wonder if we spend too much time...

LOL, they will remember that. As to your question, I don't think so (I've never used it). The purple in RP will not last. It turns normal oil color after a few runs. BTW RP is not the first dyed oil, back is the early 70's Union76 20w-50 racing oil was dyed purple as well.

    Need to adjust my OCI

This is a perfect example where an hour meter would be handy. Take a look at your Trip odometer, you might have two (2). If it has an elapsed time feature you are good. Just convert to hours rather than miles. If your normal service mileage from the OEM is 7500 miles, that would equate to 150...
