Not being real astute at reading VOA's,could somebody tell me if it would be acceptable to mix 2 quarts of Chevron 5w30 with Havoline 5w30?

I have a couple of quarts of left over Chevron 5w30.I cannot find Chevron anymore due to the fact that the auto parts store I used to purchase it at,was bought out by competition.Since Havoline is a Chevron product,would it be acceptable to mix the Chevron with the Havoline? Thanks

I think you should read my post again.I change the oil filter and T/O every 6k.The motor doesn't burn a drop of oil in that time.So,yes,the engine does appear to be in good shape.My OCI's are half of what Amsoil recomends and my complete change is done 6k before they recomend.

Let me back up for a minute here.When I switched from dino to Amsoil,I used that Amsoil engine flush(I think it's called)prior to filling with Amsoil.I would guess I put between 18 and 22k on the Civic every year.
