I had a Homelite gas weed whacker for the last 15 years. It finally bit it... and I made a bad decision. I paid $150 for a Dewalt whacker that took the same batteries as my screw guns, saws, etc.... So it is a good little machine, but it is nice for very light work and the wife likes it...

The 20 day trip totaled 7,500 miles. After changing the oil mid-trip, I put 4,000 miles on the oil. Upon coming home, the oil level is sitting right at 3/4's of the acceptable range on the stick.

I retract my earlier statement.... Amazon didn't completely DIS me... They ended up shipping me 3 of the 6 gallons I ordered. Three gallons is better than zero gallons. When the time comes, I think I will be using it in my Jeep Wrangler with 2.0L Turbo. .........

Turns out that 3 bottles were delivered to me... the other 3 were refunded. So I have three bottle delivered to the house at $13.39 a 5 quart jug. .... Darn flippin good deal.... I will have to think about how I use this awesome synthetic dino juice of 10w30.......

Ok... I let the rig sit overnight and then I checked the level on the dip stick and it was still at the very, very bottom. I added a full quart and that brought it up to the top divot on the metal of the dip stick. Then I drove it for another 2,000 miles... til today. Not sure what to...

No, I never check my oil level right after filling the sump with the exact amount the owners manual calls for. I drive it 20-100 miles and then check. Why should I be worried???? Drain the oil and pour in 2 gallons. The big difference here is ..... I let it sit overnight before I drained...
