If you have PepBoys near you use the Proline filter. Cheap as heck but flows like crazy!! Keeps those bearing apart.

I use a SuperTech on both my 383 LT1 and my 4.0L Jeep motor. I am very happy with ood oil pressure keeps the bearing were they belong when that 383 is wrapping 7000 rpms and sanpping 475+ hp at the crank.

I you ever do in Off Roading in your Jeep then the Optima is great you can mount that sucker up side down for all it cares. I have an Optima in my Formula and it is a great battery and $99 is a steal!!!

My freind runs this stuff in his 02 4.6l SOHC Mustang Gt and he says it has made the engine run smoother and has picked him up a few MPG. Just wondering if it was junk stuff or is it any good.

I am using Valvoline MaxLife right now in my Jeep and I am pretty happy with it I have gained about 2-3 psi at run speed. The only thing I am dissappointed about is it seems like I have lost about 1-2 MPG.

I use Citgo gas and I did all last winter and never noticed a drop in fuel mileage. Unless they changed it for this year. Also I am in South Eastern IN.

Yeah the cold weather could make a difference but it was about 35-40 out when I changed it and I just clocked 297 miles on that tankful before I changed it so it was cold out when I logged that tankful on the regular Valvoline. I mix three quarts of 10w30 and 3 quarts of 15w50 M1 in the winter (gets pretty cold here, at least in the teens and single digits Farenheit) in my 383 LT1 and 2 quarts 10w30 and 4 quarts 15w50 for summer and it seems to work great.

Sorry another Newbie question but I have seen lots of people talking about Auto RX and I have no idea what it does or what the benefits are. Would I want to use it in a brand new engine (383 LT1 HiPo motor 500hp at crank) or a 100k+ 4.0L Jeep Cherokee.
