Just In - Tire Rack Test for Tesla Moldel 3

EVs hit 33% Market Share in France

Yes. Those big black classic taxis in London were all diesels. I recall seeing the Duomo (Cathedral) in Firenze (Florence) being cleaned in the mid 1990s and it was black from 2-cycle motorbikes and diesel powered vehicles. That structure is white with both red and green inlays. Those inlays...

EVs hit 33% Market Share in France

France has a national energy strategy that leans heavily upon nuclear power. They standardized one reactor design and then deployed a lot of them. Canada did something similar in the Province of Ontario. Energy doesn't have to be expensive if you have a plan.

    EVs on Long Road Trips

It's actually a valid point although it was made in an overly dramatic way. I drive a PHEV that accepts the common J-1772 input. The summer before last we took a trip to Virginia with a planned lunch stop in Shepherdstown, WV. We knew in advance that there were both J-1772 and Tesla...

EVs hit 33% Market Share in France

See https://cleantechnica.com/2026/06/05/evs-take-33-0-share-in-france-tesla-model-y-leads/ but take the headline with a grain of salt. The actual number is 28.1% but they added in another 4.9% for PHEVs to build their case. The thing I find interesting is how far diesel has fallen off given...

    Post your latest E0 purchase

Not every pump at Sheetz serves up E0. Look for a red nozzle at Sheetz vs. a Blue nozzle at Royal Farms or Wawa.

    EVs on Long Road Trips

Yesterday I drove from northwestern Maine to southeastern Pennsylvania via New Hampshire, Vermont and Albany, NY. The trip time was 10:15 including two stops of about five minutes each. I am contemplating making the move to a Tesla model 3 next year so just for laughs and grins I pulled up the...

    EV lots getting cleaned out.

My annual benefit in terms of avoided costs plus PA SREC credits divided by the after tax investment cost is 9.31% Utility rates are increasing far faster than the panels are degrading so that ROI goes up with every rate increase. That's every six months where I live.

HPL Premium Plus, 0w-30, 7500 miles; Ram 1500, 5.7 hemi, Used Oil Analysis

My daily driver is coming up on 13k miles with HPL Premium Plus. The plan is to send out a sample at 15k to see how it is holding up and I keep telling myself to ignore the Aluminum based upon what I have read here. It's a PHEV so there will only be 10k ICE miles on the sample. This should be...
