Im interested to hear some responses on this oil also. I've been toying with the idea of using the 5w-20 in my 2011 Hemi. I know farmers who swear by their lubes and greases.

I believe it goes on sale a couple times a year. I may be wrong though. At my local WM, the only other oil thats cheaper is QSUD. My Silverado takes 6 qts., so by the time I buy the extra qt plus the 5qt jug, I'm pretty much at the same price as PP, Mobil 1, Valv syn, and the others. Best part...

I should have given more info. . My 5.3 uses no oil, I was just thinking of trying something else. I really want to try a 0w because of the cold MN winters. GC and Rotella Syn are not that easy to come by.

If so, likes or dislikes? Thinking about trying it out in my 2002 GM 5.3

+1 for the carbon build up on top of the piston. The GM Top Engine Cleaner works great. My 02 has had Valv Syn or NAPA Syn since day one and never uses a drop. I tried Quaker State HP a couple of changes ago and it seemed to REALLY quiet down the slap, almost to the point of not even there.
