ZF 4HP24 Transmission Fluid Audi/Land Rover

I've been using Mobil 1 for about 4 years now and like the idea of using a synthetic product. When I made the initial switch to M1 I swear the thing started to shift more smoothly. Perhaps it was just the change that did it and any product would have made an improvement. According to the manual...

ZF 4HP24 Transmission Fluid Audi/Land Rover

Tech support at ZF sent me this document and said that the 4HP22/24 use the same fluid regardless of the vehicle manufacturer. https://www.zf.com/global/media/en_zf/lubricantslists/TE-ML_11.pdf So I guess I shuld be safe to use the VW stuff. I wonder what is the difference between group 11A...

ZF 4HP24 Transmission Fluid Audi/Land Rover

I'm hoping that the G 052 162 A2 Automatic Transmission Fluid is really Pentosin ATF 1. I'd like to know more about it (the Genuine VW Product). I agree with you about the Dex III being cheap, but I'd really, really like to use the VW stuff if I can. I need more info.

    Lucas TDS Confusion

I was comparing the TDS for Lucas 0W-40 and 5W-40. The following data does not make sense to me. Shoulden't the 0W-40 have the lower viscosity at 40 C? LUCAS SYNTHETIC 0W-40 Viscosity @ 40 C cSt 84.0 Viscosity @ 100 C cSt 14.1 VI 173 LUCAS SYNTHETIC 5W-40 Viscosity @ 40 C cSt 71...

    VW/AUDI DSG FLUID

G 052 182 A2 is the correct VW/AUDI PN. I guess the fact that the DSG has wet clutches answers my question. I'll have to do some more reading on how the DSG works. Thanks for the welcome!

    VW/AUDI DSG FLUID

I recently changed the DSG fluid in my 2010 Audi A3 Quattro. What exactly is DSG fluid? I know the DSG is essentially a manual transmission. What functions does the DSG fluid have to perform above and beyond those of standard gear oil?
