Bought an H6 at Walmart last week. It was $119.99 and made by East Penn. AAP no longer allows you to use discount codes om batteries. Guess they need to recoup the $200M that they paid for the rights to the DieHard name.
I have made the same observation; that they no longer allow the discount codes to be applied towards a purchase of a battery, so as to more quickly try to recoup that $200M. If I owned stock in the company, I'd be very upset that they bought the rights to the DieHard name, at least at that...
I recently read where you can no longer use the discount codes on batteries at AAP. If true, I guess it's because they paid $200M for the rights to the DieHard name and I surmise that they want to more quickly recoup that investment.
Put KYB shocks on the rear of my 2011 Mazda CX-7. Stiffer that factory and made a vehicle that never had that 'boulevard' ride even less comfortable. Am replacing them with factory units.
It is my understanding that while the Dex-Cool (orange) coolant is what was spec'ed when manufactured, Ford has superedceded it with a yellow coolant that came out a few years ago. It's backwards compatible.
Not in my experience. Had them on a 2011 Honda Civic (front pads) and are now on a 2011 VW Sportwagon (front and rear pads). Many people on this forum will attest to the quality of the pads. Plus, I've used their Element 3 coated rotors on my 2011 Mazda CX-7, 2014 Ford EDGE and that 2011 VW wagon.
