Good Morning folks. Filter off a 2020 Expedition with safety Kleen 5w30 synthetic for 8,500 miles

Same filter and oil back in and on. End cap came right off šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

Looks ok in my opinion.

And yeah I do not believe this to be a ā€œ premiumā€ or ā€œ ultraā€ filter. So I donā€™t expect it to be perfect or great.

Now a Microgard Selectā€¦ Or Carquest Premium I would expect those to look extremely good. Because those are sold and labeled as ā€œ premium ā€œ filters and they actually look the part.

It did it's job but I don't want to buy one.
 
Nitrile adbv was somewhat pliable; not hard as rock like most are.
Just curious...given that you cut lots of filters, do you know approximately what mileage/time nitrile hardens? Is it somewhere around the 5k mileage rating for many nitrile filters (except supertech which is rated at 10k)?
