11 year old red line, maybe 3k mi BMW E30

I think this was 5w40 Euro, and I think it was about 3k mi. From an 87’ 325i w/ 115k mi that was sitting for 5-6 years, driven for under a year and sat for another 5 years. Last oil change was ~11-1/2 years ago

My mother in law has a 95 540i. 17K original miles. The last oil change was 5 or so years ago. I believe M1 is in the case.

Could be. Even though rust doesn't go to magnets very well, old rotting engine would be a good test for it.
