Quite amazing how much additives were diminished by use in 1000 miles, but viscocity held up, which is rare for Mobil 1 and Blackstone. I don't thin I've seen any oil analysis like this. I guess the oil did it's job.. Maintained viscocity, and additivies did their job.

It's the same situation as finding the best oil. Does it really make a difference? No, not always, or in all situations, but it's directly the right thing to do. You could run the cheapest certified oil you could find, and probably your car would never tell the difference. But you don't.

Part of the issue here is the hone that honed the cylinder bores at times did not correctly hone the cylinder bore, which resulted in the rings not sealing properly against the cylinder bore. Some 2.4s had this issue, some did not.

This is the correct answer in both regards, reference former lead manufacturing engineer and I managed parts washers for engine components. Unless you plan to sell the car at 40k miles.

One question I have is how can the mid Saps oil (Supercar 5w50) have higher ZDDP than the Full Sap FS? Is only the 0w40 oil the mid saps version?

The GM and Ford 10 speeds have the same "Base" design, but there are changes after the fact. LIkewise, the calibration is done completely seperately by each company. Agree, I've driven an F150 and GM twins and it feels like a totally different transmission.
