Why can't she do all 4?

I feel like Home Depot forgot part of the situation, there's no ending quotation mark.

Questions 1 - 30 were about multimeters and small engines; they were a cinch until I got to the above question. I ran out of time on the test. Question 31 screwed me up big time.

They should have had practical questions such as:

1. How best do you ride a pallet jack?

2. How far must a coworker run to be missed by stream wasp spray?

3. How do you impress a cute cashier?

4. How to safely play lightsabres with flouresent tubes?

Cancel the order in the system.

This really isn't hard. It's a process of elimination. Of the four choices listed, "Cancel the order in the system" was the only one that Rachel was given instructions to do.

The first answer can be eliminated because Rachel was instructed to pick up the FedEx package from Rhonda and set it on Marcus' desk. Her instructions were not to delegate the task to Rhonda.

The second answer can be eliminated because the instructions were for Roy to call store 789.

The fourth answer can be eliminated because it is Roy that is supposed to stop by store 789 and pick up the power washer kit, not Rachel.

Maybe they are testing to see how well one can listen to and understand instructions. Or perhaps it is a matter of how well one follows instructions. Regardless, there really is only the one correct answer.

Awesome!

Cancel the order is the only thing she was asked to do herself; everything else on that question is stuff she is directed to ask others to do. With regard to Rhonda, she was not asked to get Rhonda to do anything (although she might do that) but to herself get the package and deliver it. Or perhaps more to the point to take personal responsibility for it getting to his desk rather than delegating that job to someone else.

How do you know it has already been shipped?
seems like every time i order something it cant be stopped.

I know that one of the questions on any box store test has to be, how long does it take you to disappear when you spot a customer that may need help with loading mulch or bags of cement.

The answer doesn't matter, they'll probably screw it up anyway. LOL Walk through one of the Home Depot stores around here and you'll wonder how the company is as successful as it is. The key to shopping successfully at a Home Depot in my neck of the woods is know exactly what you want and where it is, trying to get help is a fools errand.
