Went to Lowe's today, and while there grabbed a couple filters to cut open. This is a Blue Mountain BMJ4459. Same as Fram PH3593 or AC PF1127 or Purulator L14459.

Cost me all of 36 cents.

I cut a Fram that I will post in another thread.

All the stuff

For $.36 I won't complain.

The one we ran in my son's Alero this winter came out looking pretty bad. I wanted to see what they looked like going in.

EDIT: 901Memphis...that is my son's filter. That's why I wanted to cut a fresh one open.

Want some filter media with that glue? Wow, that is a lot of glue! Not bad, not good....run of the mill cheap filter. I would not use it though because of the excess glue. Don't want some of that breaking free.

Yep you guys got what you paid for. I can't bring myself to trusting many filters these days.
