Found this in the shop thought I would share , All I no about it is GM 5.8K on filter.

WT heck is that? Never seen a Classic with silicone adbv and thread end bypass. Looks like a Motorcraft element and adbv next to a Classic can. And if that's an L24011 for a GM and there no integral filter bypass spec'd for that filter. Lot's of stuff very odd about this filter, doesn't make sense at all.

That said, though no interval listed filter element looks fine.

I guess I'll call the first one a MotorClassic, or maybe a ClassicCraft.

Seam pleat area looks wider, since you didn't note it, assuming no tear in that area. Otherwise looks fine.
 
Now that is what Purolators are supposed to look like. I still have one of those on hand for the Lumina I think I'll go ahead and use it. So much media there I think any tear concerns would be averted plus I run fairly short OCI's in that old soldier anyway.
