Have a 2011 Volvo S60 which makes a funny noise when I go over speed humps.
Our humps here are about 6-8" tall spread over 4 feet or so. Each time I go over a hump I hear a "spish" sound, like the shock compressing and the gas inside also shifting from one chamber to another. One "spish" for the front and one for the rear wheels.
Funny is that I only heard it when I would down the windows this afternoon by accident. Obviously not loud enough to hear in the cabin with windows up.
Car only has 41,000 Km, 25,000 Miles. Is it something to worry about? Car's suspension is fine. Handles no problem. Just a funny noise. Doesn't happen with small bumps, only with longer strut travel.
Anything I can do to diagnose? Should I take it in?
