I came across a 5 gallon container of a texaco product I believe with the label saying URSA Super Plus SAE 15W40. Any body have any idea what this is? Doing a quick google search it appears to be a diesel oil like rotella, mobil and chevron. I plan on sending in a sample to blackstone for virgin analysis and if it comes back as a decent oil I will run it in my bikes.

It is Texaco's equivalent of Rotella. Or at least was. Haven't seen it around for a long time.

I used to run Ursa oil in a 3145 V-8 Caterpillar diesel in a industrial application around 1975.
