Ford sued Kasy Kahne?

Court Dismisses All Claims by Ford against Kasey Kahne: On July 28, 2005

It has a lot of information about it on that link, man I've never heard anything about this. Kasy was good about keeping it under wraps. Talk about a PR nightmare for Ford if this was talked about over the water cooler as Kasy is very popular. Is this a repost?

IIRC Ford sued Kasey as he left Ford to drive for Dodge after they believed they signed him to an exclusive driver development contract. This is not the first, nor will it be the last time that Ford drops the ball on driver development (Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, etc.). It sorta bugs me as I have always been a fan of Ford in NASCAR.

Thanks for that info, Jeff Gordon drove a Ford? When was this, Busch series or before? Did they try and sue him? Image is everything, and Kasey has a spotless image and is admired by all his peers. Ford should be careful, if the soccer moms of the world new this, they'd probably Boycott the he!! out of Ford. I like Ford too, but until they bring back the Bronco they will never have my business.
