Oil filter study

Seen it before. Problem is, it is several years old, and it is likely that the design and construction of some (many?...most?) of the filters have changed since then.

However, the Fram pictured is pretty much the same lousy Fram that you can buy today...

New members may not have seen it... Keep it coming. Use the search engine first, but keep looking for new stuff. After Cermax we need something new.
 
You're right, glenncof. Most of the myths or misconceptions you hear from older mechanics were somewhat true at one time. They were just snap shots of "state of the art" ..but are where many stop in the learning experience. It's not like reading Macbeth. It's the ever changing story.
