Very nice! I understand this is 100% synthetic oil with PAO and API CI-4+. If this oil were made to meet CJ specs, what effect do you think it would have? Does Schaeffer's have a CJ4 yet? What air/oil/by-pass filters were used?

I would like to get my hands on some, but it is a RPITA to find in my area. Dealers are a couple of hours away. Anyone have any other ideas? Salesrep?

Those old E models are clean burning engines are they not. Looks very close to the 30,000 mi OCI on mine except I had about 40% Idle time (on Delo 400) and the combination of a only GII+ Base and Idle resulted in Higher Oxid and Nitr. That is a very good product to have that low of Oxid and Nitr at that mileage even if idle was under 10%.

PS Those that were picking on the Visc loss note the extremely low Oxid and Nitr. There has been very little thickening to offset shearing. In my opinion this is a good thing for the longevity of this product.

Schaeffers should have the papers in order by August - we will then see a breakdown of the CJ4 oil. I think it will be a drastic change in additive levels and types as they move away from solids in order to achieve the lower ash level required for CJ4.
