Given the excessive fuel dilution, you'd be better off here running one of the Amsoil 20w-50 formulations. I'd suggest their new 20w-50 Motorcycle oil, which starts out at a very thick 20.0 centistokes, vs 14.5 Cst for the 10w-40/AMO. You can expect the fuel dilute to thin any oil out by approx one SAE grade in this motor....

Ted, I think it is better for him to correct the cause of the fuel dilution. It is amazing how well Amsoil protected in this test.

Other than the fuel dilution, your bike is pretty easy on oil being over 6,000 miles and showing very little particulate.
