Hmm...I've just been reading up on the new CJ-4 Rotella and I may give it a try afterall. Appears to be a pretty tough oil, and with the oil temps I'm seeing in my bike I honestly don't think 20w50 is justified. I think I'm going to dump the factory fill at around 500 miles and put 15w40 in.

Theoretically, yes. But the 1200 "kit" consists of new jugs, not boring out the existing cylinders.
