Ride either before buying. The V-Rod is a very different M/C than your "normal" HD. If you can't get at least a 30 minute test ride, rent one for a day. It will be well worth the $75-$125. Not knocking it, just saying its a different kind of HD and it looks, runs, sounds, and feels differently.

The V-Rod is quite the ride. I love mine and will always have one in my garage. Do not think I could ever go back to an airhead.
