Here are the results from my 10k sample running Schaeffer's Supreme 15w-40. I have not changed the oil yet. No secondary filtration, only about a half qt make up oil between the 5,500 mile sample and the 10,000 mile sample. 5,500 mile sample was done through Schaeffer's, 10,000 mile sample was done through Predictive Maintenance Services. I know you probably shouldn't mix labs, but... So, do I change the filter and keep going, or change it all out and do another 10k run?? On edit, my truck has 40,000 miles on it.

If it was me, I would just change the filter and keep going. Schaeffers seems to consistently turn out great UOA numbers. TBN of 10.2 after 10k miles? Are these mostly highway miles? Silicon seems somewhat elevated. How's your air filter's condition and seal to the box?

Thanks for the response. About 40% of the 10k was towing our 10k 5er or other stuff. The rest are combo city/highway miles.
I just changed the air filter about a week or so ago as it looked pretty dirty when I pulled the sample. The seal looked pretty good, but will double check the seal of the new air filter to make sure.

Sorry for the late reply salesrep, I was out of town all week. That was the second Schaeffer's fill on this engine. First fill I only ran 5k with no analysis. Then this 10k drain with analysis at both 5k and 10k.

I'd change it in the next 2-3k and would not hesitate to run this out to 15k next fill.
Nice report. I have been receiving great reports with ps Fords and this engine with our 15-40 blend and our 5-40 syn.

Great, thanks for the follow up! Look forward to receiving my case of oil soon for the next run.
Thanks,
Bob
